The idea is to use app such as DoCheck (BlackSmithSoft) integrated with Projectwise that could “label” PDF files put on Projectwise Folder, with a unique QR code. When a file is printed or emailed, it can be checked using any QR reader and validated to ascertain it is the latest version.
Could be very useful for brownfield projects in existing units with multi-projects (expansion, maintenance) progressing simultaneously requiring multi-versioning project by project, controls and documents checks (isometry control, Piping & instrumentation drawings...) in the unit. People who are controlling documents are not always Projectwise users. Simple QR code control could ease their job and avoid mistake.
